A forum on “The True Image of Islam” was held earlier this week in Amroha town, northwestern Uttar Pradesh state in northern India.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A forum on “The True Image of Islam” was held earlier this week in Amroha town, northwestern Uttar Pradesh state in northern India.

It was organized by the Chahar Menar Mosque after Noon prayer.

Aftab Ahmed Amrohavi, Indian Quran researcher and reciter, addressed the meeting and discussed the characteristics of the true image of the Holy Quran.

“Today, we witness the expansion of Islam all around the world which designates that this religion is the religion of affection”, he noted.

Regarding Islam as the religion of unity and brotherhood, he added that “Terrorism and corruption are meaningless in Islam and the mission of the Great Prophet (PBUH) was to improve security in society”.

Elsewhere in his remarks he referred to Islam’s recommendations regarding prayer, adding that the only request of the religion to all its followers is fulfilling the divine duty.
